2025: Set up new Maltese distributor’s medical information service (gbl biopharma)

Successfully launched a new external distributor providing first-line medical information services for a global biopharmaceutical company.

Led a project to establish a new Maltese distributor’s first-line medical information service for a global biopharmaceutical company. This initiative involved the creation of a new operational framework, including the implementation of a first-line medical information service, structured across several key phases.

The planning phase focused on defining the project's objectives, scope, and deliverables, culminating in the development of a comprehensive project plan. The subsequent implementation phase involved close collaboration with the distributor’s MI team and the global biopharmaceutical company’s external MI contact center to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and the set up of the necessary infrastructure and systems.

The training phase was dedicated to the development and delivery of specialized training programs for the distributor's staff. These programs covered essential areas such as product knowledge, medical information procedures, and relevant regulatory frameworks. Go-live marked the official commencement of the distributor's operations, including the launch of the medical information service.

Finally, the post go-live testing phase was crucial for evaluating the distributor's performance, ensuring the quality of the MI services provided, and addressing any initial operational challenges. This project ensured a seamless transition and the successful operational launch of the new distributor’s new first-line medical information service.
